Silence is a short experimental film. The film evokes the journey of a woman who has to undergo a medical abortion. The filmmaker takes you through the different moments of a personal tragedy, from saying goodbye to the pregnant body to the clinical procedures, and finally to the experience in the hospital. Layered above the images, an intimate voice reads an imaginary letter, problematizing the apparent communicability of suffering through images.
